Packly is the platform that lets you design, preview in 3D and print your custom packaging in a single tool, with no minimum order quantity: you can order as little as 1 piece.
How to proceed
1 - Choose and configure your packaging
If you choose a fully customisable packaging, you can start in two ways:
- enter your product’s dimensions in BoxFinder, which suggests the feasible box models;
- choose the model you want to create first, then enter the desired internal dimensions. Select the material best suited to your project and add any special finishes.
2 - Download and customise your dieline
Download the template (the dieline) and open it with vector graphics software (e.g. Illustrator). Lock the template layer without editing it, create a new layer for your artwork and place it below the Packly layer, then save the project as a high-resolution PDF with both layers.
To create artwork that’s correct and print-ready, check the guidelines dedicated to your product type.
3 - View your packaging in 3D
You can upload your artwork file straight away during configuration, or later from the MyPackly area after placing your order. The 3D preview shows you the final result online, including any special finishes applied (gold, silver, varnish).
In any case, the preview is indicative only: for printing, the 2D PDF file you upload and confirm is what counts.
4 - Add the product to your cart
Enter the quantity to print (starting from as little as 1 piece) and get a real-time quote. Select your preferred production priority and add the product to your cart.
5 - Addresses
Select or enter your billing and shipping addresses, choose your payment method (credit card, PayPal or bank transfer) and confirm your order.
After the order, the dieline and the 3D model of the purchased product remain always available in your MyPackly account area, in the corresponding order section, once payment has been received. The file can be downloaded without limits; the 3D preview can be regenerated as many times as you like, until the print file is confirmed.
How Packly works for products with preset sizes
In addition to fully customisable packaging, Packly also offers products with preset sizes: bottle boxes, Bag-in-Box, counter displays and other items with predefined dimensions and material.
Configuration takes place directly on the product page: choose the size from those available. Here, customisation only concerns the artwork, not the box structure.
From here on, the steps are the same as for fully customisable products: download the dieline, customise your artwork following the guidelines dedicated to your product type, upload the file (straight away or later from the MyPackly area after your order) and add the product to your cart.
For products sold in flat sheets (tissue paper) or non-customisable products (bubble wrap), 3D preview isn’t available, given the nature of the product.
